Thames Valley Safer Roads Partnership

TVSRP required an 'electronic witness statement' to replace their paper based system to record the calibration of speed cameras, unique film identities, weather conditions, speed limit indicators and other pertinent information. M-Netics developed an HHT solution which removed all the traditional paper based activities, automatically sent the data back to the central server via GPRS and provided a secure PDF form which would be admissable in court proceedings.

Deans Foods

Deans Foods

As one of the UKs largest producers and suppliers of eggs Deans Foods were inundated with paper collection manifests during their normal working day. M-Netics worked with Deans Foods to develop and supply a real-time in-cab collection and delivery solution for their egg collection vehicles, which used hand held data collection terminals and portable printers to automate and streamline the egg collection process. The solution printed receipts for the farmers as well as 2D bar code labels for the egg crates to enable automatic sortation in the distribution centres.

Scottish Power

Scottish Power

M-Netics wrote a bespoke application for Scottish Power's 750 meter readers to automate all areas of their job and remove any requirement for paper work. The Symbol MC9000 based solution automatically sends the walk route to the mobile workers and retrieves the meter readings and customer information back to the central server.
