Deans Foods As one of the UKs largest producers and suppliers of eggs Deans Foods were inundated with paper collection manifests during their normal working day. M-Netics worked with Deans Foods to develop and supply a real-time in-cab collection and delivery solution for their egg collection vehicles, which used hand held data collection terminals and portable printers to automate and streamline the egg collection process. The solution printed receipts for the farmers as well as 2D bar code labels for the egg crates to enable automatic sortation in the distribution centres. |
